Amelda has over 10 years experience which started in Dun Laoghaire Senior College where she gained her Beauty Therapy Diplomas as well as a Holistic Diploma.

After Dun Laoghaire, Amelda traveled around the Caribbean on one of the World’s largest cruise ships gaining invaluable knowledge and experience. On her return home, Amelda specialized as a facial tutor in the renowned Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School in Monkstown, Dublin, it was then that she decided to concentrate her time as a make-up artist and joined the M.A.C make-up team at Brown Thomas.

With all her knowledge and skills learnt over the years, Amelda returned home to Mayo three years ago where she now runs her own salon from the Clew Bay Hotel, offering a full range of Thalgo Skin Care treatments and in-house or freelance make-up service specializing in bridal make-up and travelling to your home or the hotel on your wedding morning.
